How to Respond to Suspected Phishing/Vishing Attempts

If you are uncomfortable or suspicious of any text or call from anyone purporting to be from SAFE Credit Union, we encourage you to do the following:

  1. Do not provide any information, ask the caller for their full name.
  2. HANG UP and call 1-800-SEE-SAFE.
  3. Ask to be transferred to the person who placed the call to you

Taking these steps will validate that the call was in fact from a SAFE Credit Union employee and reduce the possibility of inadvertently becoming the victim of a fraudulent attack.
