Enhanced Login Security – User Name
At SAFE, your online security is our top priority. Enhanced Login Security provides multiple options to protect your account.
Beginning in early February, SAFE will be making the following changes to our login requirements in agreement with recent government guidelines:
- The Online Banking login process will be upgraded and will require the use of a User Name during login. The User Name will be used in lieu of your Member Number when logging into Online Banking. This will ensure your Member Number remains secure.
We invite you to get a head start now by logging into Online Banking and creating your unique User Name with these simple steps:
Please note: Members who have not created a new User Name will be required to do so when logging into Online Banking after February 12, 2013.
February 12, 2013 upgrade: When you log into Online Banking after the upgrade, you will be prompted to enter a one-time access code based on your existing online security preferences. This code is different from the current password you use to access your account. You will no longer be able to access your account by answering online security questions.
