SAFE Kicks Off Financial Capability Month with Free Webinars in April

Folsom, Calif. (March 27, 2024) – In the spirit of sharing useful financial tips during Financial Capability Month, SAFE Credit Union’s financial education team is offering a series of free webinars focused on helping consumers better manage their budgets and keep their financial information safe.

The webinars – ranging from planning for emergencies to avoiding scams – are one in a series of initiatives and events presented by SAFE during April.

“We look forward to sharing tips and information on how to better build one’s financial freedom during Financial Capability Month,” says SAFE Credit Union Financial Wellness Manager Hector Madueno. “These webinars are especially accessible and informative.”

Other offerings during the month of April from SAFE’s financial education team include several real-life scenario Budget Cents workshops for high schoolers throughout the Sacramento region, a to-be shared online Financial Education Tool Kit to help shoppers better budget, and weekly financial tips on SAFE’s Facebook and Instagram pages.

The credit union is also inviting high school students to enter a financial education-driven sticker design contest and will hold free talks by financial experts during America Saves Week.
