In addition to our internal security measures, our financial educators have put together useful information on how to protect yourself and your family from fraud. Fraud and scams can happen to anyone. Always be suspicious of calls, emails, texts and other communication you receive from someone you don't know, particularly if they ask for money or your personal information.
Please know that SAFE will never ask you for confidential information like your username and password or ask you to provide the SAFE one-time verification code to gain access to your accounts.

If you see suspicious activity on any of your SAFE accounts, call us right away at (800) 733-7233 to report it. We will ask for information regarding the activity and investigate.
To place fraud alerts on your credit report, contact one of the three credit agencies. Once you place a report with one of the agencies, they will share the information with the other two.
Be on the lookout for these common scams that play on your emotions and seek to gain your trust. They will often demand payment via cash app or through pre-paid gift cards.
