SAFE Mobile App

The SAFE Mobile App allows you to complete many banking transactions at any time, from anywhere. Check your balance, transfer funds, and pay bills in just a few taps. You can also turn your debit and credit cards off and on, set account notifications, and report cards lost or stolen quickly and securely through the Mobile App.

MyDeposit

Save a trip to a branch or ATM with SAFE’s convenient MyDeposit solution. Deposit your checks from the comfort of your home using your smartphone.

Get started

  • Endorse the back of the check. Be sure to include: “For Mobile Deposit at SAFE Credit Union only” under your signature or, if available, check the box that reads “Check here if mobile deposit.”
  • Open the SAFE Mobile App
  • Select “Check Deposit”
  • Select the account you want to deposit the check into
  • Enter the amount
  • Take a picture of the front of the check
  • Take a picture of the back of the check
  • Click “Deposit” and receive confirmation
  • Hold onto the check until it clears, then destroy
 
 

Quick Balance Access

Set-up

  • Log into the SAFE Mobile App
  • Select "More"
  • Click on the gear icon in the upper right-hand corner
  • Select "Quick balance"
  • Click on "Current Device" and toggle to "On." You can also turn on for a smart watch.

  • Open SAFE Mobile App to login page
  • Tap the screen once and then swipe down
  • Balances for all accounts will populate
 
 

Mobile Chat

Log into the SAFE Mobile App

  • Select "More"
  • Scroll down to "Contact Us" section
  • Select "Secure Chat"
  • Follow the prompts
 
 

Text banking

Receive account balances and transaction details in seconds by texting the following commands to 454545.

bal: Primary balance
bal all: Current balances for all the accounts you have with us
bal chk: Checking account balances
bal sav: Savings account balances
last: Last five transactions
trans: Transfer funds to a primary account
stop: Deactivate service
help: Help keywords

Log in to Online Banking to get started

  • Log in to online banking
  • Select “Additional Services”
  • Select "Text Message Enrollment"
  • Select “Text Message Sign Up”
  • Follow the instructions and you’ll be set to text
 
 

Password Reset

Reset your password in the SAFE Mobile App.

Open the SAFE Mobile App

  • Open the SAFE Mobile App and click "Forgot Login"
  • Enter the mobile phone number and username associated with your account.
  • A text message will be sent with your new temporary password. Enter password and confirm.
  • Enter the new temporary password from your text message in Online Banking. Click Confirm.
  • Enter your new password.
 
 

Delete Online and Mobile Banking Access

You can request removal of your Online Banking and SAFE Mobile App access and related data by contacting us through Secure Messaging or Chat.

Any activity you previously set up within Online Banking or the SAFE Mobile App will be disabled and/or deleted. This includes enrollment in eStatements, account alerts, Bill Pay payments, external transfers to other people or accounts, member transfers, and scheduled or recurring transfers, as well as any history for any of these services.

Your SAFE accounts will remain open. This request is only for the deletion of data related to your Online and Mobile Banking access.
