A proud Sacramento native, Alex Becerra is a Community Development Specialist at SAFE Credit Union supporting the Community Relations team. He is passionate about connecting with people and finding unique ways to partner with individuals and organizations that create, inspire, and uplift our communities. He also serves as host and lead producer of the Perfect Cents Podcast, SAFE's official financial wellness podcast.

In his personal life, Alex enjoys spending quality time with his wife and two children, visiting Disneyland, and engaging in extensive conversations about music, theater, and film.

Savannah Brown, Community Development Specialist at SAFE Credit Union, has dedicated the last decade to perfecting her skills in the financial industry. She is driven to combine her extensive financial background and facilitation knowledge in order to create unique and informative experiences for the communities that she serves.  Always passionate about learning more, and then sharing with others; Savannah has had the privilege to work with numerous organizations to help increase their financial and professional wellbeing.

When she is not enriching lives on the financial end, she is working out, staying active, and spends time practicing gratitude and mindfulness. 

Miriam Dougherty serves the community with over a decade of experience in the financial sector, four of those years dedicated as a Financial Educator. In addition to being a graduate from Fresno State with her BA in Mass Communication and Journalism, Miriam is also a Certified Credit Union Financial Counselor.

Miriam is the proud daughter of a first-generation Texas Native and an immigrant from Michoacán, Mexico. When she is not spending time engrossed in a book or enjoying all things Disney, Miriam loves to spend the majority of her time with her husband and two young children.
