Patricia Rodriguez serves as a Director on the SAFE Credit Union Board of Directors. She is currently the Chair of the Governance and Nominating Committee. She joined the board in 2021 and has contributed her extensive leadership expertise to support strategic oversight, community-focused initiatives, and SAFE’s mission of enhancing financial well-being for its members,
A highly accomplished healthcare executive, Patricia Rodriguez is currently the Regional President for Kaiser Permanente in Nevada. She previously served as Senior Vice President Area Manager and Hospital Administrator for Kaiser Permanente in South Sacramento and Elk Grove, where she oversaw the area’s only Level II Trauma Center and all health plan and hospital operations, providing care for more than 225,000 members. Additional former roles include former Chief Operating Officer of Kaiser Foundation Hospitals and Health Plan, Northern California region, and former Chief Operating Officer and Chief Nursing Officer Kaiser Foundation Hospitals Hawaii region.
With over 30 years of experience at Kaiser Permanente, she has held progressive leadership roles across clinical services, hospital operations, continuum operations, and care delivery strategy in Hawaii, Northern California, and now Nevada.
Rodriguez is deeply committed to community health and service. She has participated in local leadership initiatives, including service on the Sacramento Host committee, and contributes to efforts addressing healthcare access, equity and community well-being in the Greater Sacramento area.
She has served as past chair for the American Heart Association and the Sacramento Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce. She has also served on the boards of the American Leadership Forum, Linked Learning Alliance, Align Capital Region, and the Sacramento Mayor’s Commission on Climate Change.
She currently extends her business acumen in serving on the executive committee of Valley Vision and as a Board member for the Crocker Art Museum.
She holds a master’s degree in public health from the University of Hawaii and a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Lethbridge in Alberta, Canada. She attended the Executive Leadership Program at the Harvard Business School and is a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE).
She received the Businesswoman of the Year Award in 2020 from the Sacramento Metro Chamber, named to the Sacramento 300 by Sacramento Magazine in 2019, and was honored in the Women Who Mean Business awards by the Sacramento Business Journal in 2013.
Rodriguez brings a blend of senior executive experience in large-scale operations, strategic leadership, and dedication to community service to benefit SAFE members and the communities the credit union serves.
