Folsom, Calif. – (April 30, 2025) – May 1 marks Sacramento’s Big Day of Giving, an annual day of fundraising where Sacramento-region residents are encouraged to support their favorite nonprofits. That's why SAFE Credit Union's Community Impact Manager, Lauren LeBov wrote a guest column on how donations are important, but giving the gift of time can help just as much.
“Volunteerism has incredible benefits for individuals, but it can be just as rewarding for the community,” SAFE Credit Union Community Impact Manager Lauren LeBov writes in column published in The Sacramento Bee. “It boosts the local economy, improves public health and strengthens the job market.”
