ICYMI: Sac Natural Foods Co-op CEO Appears on SAFE Podcast

Folsom and Sacramento, Calif. – (July 22, 2026) – An episode of SAFE's Perfect Cents podcast recently dropped featuring the credit union’s longtime business banking member Sacramento Natural Foods Co-op’s Chief Executive Officer Brian Munn.

In a deep dive discussion, Munn and host Alex Becerra talk about the many ways co-ops, including not-for-profit cooperatives like SAFE, align to strengthen communities by giving back to the community, supporting each other’s industries, and empowering other regional small businesses. The Sacramento Natural Foods Co-op has been a business banking member with SAFE Credit Union since 2017.

“That’s what we do at Sac Co-op really, is the big thing, is creating the access to the local farmers, to the local community,” Munn says, who has worked in the food industry from the butcher block to a now CEO.
