Folsom and Granite Bay, Calif. –(March 25, 2026) – SAFE Credit Union Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer Tiffani Vargas appeared on Fox 40’s Studio40 Live today to highlight the credit union’s newest branch in Granite Bay bridging digital and in-person banking.
During her Sacramento-region Fox affiliate appearance, Vargas shared how the Placer County branch’s new open concept stands out and introduces a new way for members and new members to bank with SAFE.
The branch offers a more human-centered and relaxed design, with comfortable teller stations replacing a traditional teller window. It also features a connection bar with complimentary coffee, water, and a place to plug in digital devices to bank or just relax.
“A lot of thought went into the location of this branch,” Vargas says about why SAFE opened the new branch in the Sierra Oaks Plaza Center. “It really is a great connection between having digital options and the convenience that digital options provide and the human touch when you want it.”
The location includes a first for SAFE: a 40-seat community room where SAFE will hold free financial education workshops and invite local business and community organizations to use it by reservation for their meetings and events.
