Overdraft protection to fit your lifestyle

It's easy to make your checking account fit your busy lifestyle. SAFE offers two convenient options to cover your account.

1 Two monthly requirements must be met to receive premium dividends on Perfect Cents Checking and Share Savings or Young Member Account: Active enrollment in eStatements and minimum of 10 debit card purchase transactions must clear Perfect Cents Checking account. 2 Standard carrier rates and fees apply. 3 Subject to receipt from originator and other terms and conditions. 4 See rate sheet. 5 $5 monthly fee is waived with eStatements and either 10 or more debit card purchase transactions per month or direct deposits totaling $500 or more per month. Also waived for Capitol Club, members less than 21 years of age, and the first 90 days from account opening. 6 Limited to one box or discount per calendar year. 7 $8 monthly fee is waived with minimum daily balance of $1,000 or more, or combined deposit and loan balance of $5,000 or more. Also waived for Capitol Club and the first 90 days from account opening.

How do I activate my SAFE Visa® Debit Card through Online Banking?

  1. Log in to Online Banking with the account the debit card is linked to. If you have not logged into Online Banking previously, login with your account number and CALL-24 PIN. If you do not know your CALL-24 PIN, please call SAFE's Call Center at (800) SEE-SAFE.
  2. Click on the Additional Services tab
  3. Select the Activate Debit Card link

To report a lost/stolen SAFE Visa Debit Card after hours please call (800) 252-2273.

How do I initiate an electronic (ACH) withdrawal, deposit, or payment on my SAFE account?

Please provide SAFE's Routing number (321173742) in addition to the information listed below:

  • For checking, provide the account number as listed on the bottom of your check following the routing number. (Do not include the leading zeros.)
  • For savings (includes Money Market), provide your account number and 2-digit savings or money market suffix as listed on your SAFE account statement.
