This year’s dynamic and locally-crafted hometown choreography of Nutcracker, sponsored by California Walnuts, is by SacBallet alumni Colby Damon, Julia Feldman and Nicole Haskins. A beloved holiday tradition, the performance is held each year at the SAFE Credit Union Convention Center and Performing Arts District.

Last year’s staging of the Tchaikovsky classic performed to sold-out and capacity houses.

“We look forward to seeing audiences enjoy all that the SAFE Credit Union Convention Center and Performing Arts District has to offer to attendees and families each year, especially during the holiday season,” says SAFE Credit Union President and CEO Faye Nabhani, who serves as a director for the Greater Sacramento Economic Council.

SacBallet's family-favorite Nutcracker will include festive lobby experiences like a walnut-counting contests, tasty free samples, family photo opportunities and the once-a-year pop-up souvenir shop, "Clara's Attic." The three-week run (Saturday, Dec. 9 - Saturday, Dec. 23) promises to excite and engage Northern California audiences with evening and matinee performances.
