New SAFE CU Convention and Performing Arts District, Starbucks Discounts Offered to Members

Folsom, Calif.  (Oct. 31, 2024) – Along with deals on ballet and ski tickets, SAFE members can now receive additional benefits while attending an event or a show at the SAFE Credit Union Convention and Performing Arts District.

Through a new partnership with the city of Sacramento, the credit union’s members who make purchases using a SAFE Visa debit or credit card will receive a 10 percent discount on food and beverage purchases at the Performing Arts Center’s concession stand, as well as 10 percent off food and beverage purchases and 25 percent off merchandise in the Starbucks in the Convention Center.

The new benefits add to members already receiving 15 percent off tickets to two upcoming Sacramento Ballet performances – Nutcracker and Romeo & Juliet – as well as discounted season passes and lift tickets from Sierra-at-Tahoe.

“These new benefits are the latest in a series of initiatives by SAFE to show our appreciation to our members and celebrate all that the SAFE Credit Union Convention Center and Performing Arts District has to offer,” says SAFE’s Chief Executive Officer Faye Nabhani.

In 2019, SAFE Credit Union announced its 25-year, $23 million commitment and investment into Sacramento’s SAFE Credit Union Convention and Performing Arts District.

The new District member discounts are part of the credit union’s community-based and member-exclusive offers and discounts that include discounted season passes through Monday, Dec. 16 and lift tickets throughout the ski season from Sierra-at-Tahoe.

Through the credit union’s partnership with SacBallet, members can purchase tickets at a savings of 15 percent to the upcoming Nutcracker performances Friday, Dec. 13 -Sunday, Dec. 22, and Romeo & Juliet performances on Friday, Feb. 14 - Sunday, Feb. 16.
