In this presentation, led by Chris Frederick of Good Shepherd Insurance, we will discuss the ABCs of what it takes to enroll, qualify for, and identify different types of Medicare coverage.

About The Speakers

Alex Becerra, CCUFC

Community Development Specialist, SAFE Credit Union

Alex is a proud Sacramento native and has worked at SAFE Credit Union since 2014. He currently serves as a Community Development Specialist supporting the Community Relations & Financial Education team.

In addition to his role as CDS, Alex hosts and produces the Perfect Cents Podcast, which focuses on financial education and building financial freedom. Also, Alex is a Certified Credit Union Financial Counselor and holds an A.S. in Business Administration from Sierra College.

In his personal life, Alex is singer and is passionate about music and film. He enjoys spending time with his wife and two children and working to create lasting positive impacts throughout the community.

Chris Frederick

Owner, Good Shepherd Insurance Agency

Chris Frederick is the founding owner of Good Shepherd Insurance Agency; a company helping individuals and families plan for Medicare, Healthcare, and Long-Term Care expenses. With a BA in Business from Point Loma Nazarene University, Chris has worked in the financial planning and insurance industry for more than 15 years. As an insurance planner, his mission is to be a trusted source in navigating the “mine field” of healthcare in retirement.

Today, Chris resides with his wife and five children in Rocklin, California. He is passionate about teaching and mentoring others, as well as producing music, coaching soccer, and track & field.
