SAFE members enthusiastically supported the American Heart Association’s Go Red for Women campaign this spring, helping to achieve outstanding results in awareness and fundraising.
Highlighting the need for cardiovascular health among women, the Go Red campaign educates and raises research funding to prevent heart disease, which kills an estimated 450,000 women a year in the U.S. — about one woman every minute.
SAFE put its network of branches behind a two-month Go Red campaign. Since the launch of SAFE’s Go Red for Women campaign February 1, SAFE has raised more than $20,000 for Go Red, including $10,000 through member donations at our 21 local branches and through our Call Center.
As a cause sponsor, SAFE is proud of our participation and thankful for the support and compassion of our members. We appreciate the opportunity to share the benefits of heart-health, as well as financial solutions for getting fiscally fit and reducing stress.
