Following the recent SAFE Credit Union Annual Meeting, it was announced that Terrance Tremelling will be succeeding Ron Seaman as Board Chairman.

On Friday, April 21, Congressman Ami Bera visited SAFE Credit Union headquarters in Folsom, Calif., where he answered questions regarding both regional and national affairs impacting credit union members and employees alike.

In an effort to support communities impacted by the evacuation orders along the Feather River Basin in Butte, Sutter, and Yuba counties, SAFE Credit Union donated $5,000 to the Salvation Army, Del Oro Division, which directly serves the affected region.

SAFE Credit Union today announced the call-for-applications for its 2017 Scholarship Program. This annual program, now in its 16th year, awards 10 outstanding college-bound seniors a $1,000 scholarship, for a total investment of $10,000.

SAFE Credit Union today proudly announced that Ron Seaman, who joined its board of directors in 1986, became board chair in 1996, and has served in that capacity for 20 years, won the prestigious J. Alvin George Outstanding Volunteer Award from the California Credit Union League (CCUL).

SAFE Credit Union is seeking outstanding teens for scholarship opportunities. As part of SAFE's annual scholarship program, 10 college-bound high school seniors will each be awarded $1,000 this spring.
