SSL - Secure Socket Layer

Before initiating your Online Banking, we first require that a "secure session" is established using Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption.  This is a process where the information between our server and your browser is encrypted or scrambled so it cannot be read by unauthorized parties.

There are two general indicators that you have entered a secure session:

  1. An unbroken key or locked padlock icon appears on the bottom of your broswer screen.
  2. The URL (web page address) in the address bar starts wih https (note the "s" at the end) rather than "http".
If these two indicators exist, your session is secure.
Protecting your privacy is our top priority. Refer to our Privacy Policy and Online Privacy Statement for more information.
